Brand new White Knight C44A7W noise???

Hi All,

Thanks for the help on the previous decision making process of what type of tumble drier to purchase.

I bought a vented White Knight C44A7W and have just installed it. As soon as I turned it on I noticed a distinct ‘rubbing’ sound from the drum. It happens in only one place – lower down to the left hand side when facing the machine. When i spin the drum slowly by hand I can feel a resistance in this area.

This doesn’t seem normal but I was wondering if it needed ‘wearing in’ or whether the drum is distorted in some way.

Has anyone had a similar experience? If it has a quick easy fix I’d prefer to do some adjusting myself and forego the guarantee rather than go to the hassle of taking the machine back etc etc….

Ok…

Scrap that last post!

I turned the drier round and on closer inspection it has a big dent in the side panel.

This was rubbing on the drum.

I took the lid off and knocked the dent out and all is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} now!
