    this appliance is 3 years old, refrigerant gas is R600a. This is a ‘frost free’ unit but some months ago I noticed ice build up under the bottom draw, which I removed at the time but still get a build up. I don’t think the air fan is running at all. then a couple of days ago the temperature in the freezer was about 2-3C and the compresser had stopped running ( heat exchanger on back was cold).The lights were on in the cabinet and supercool switch light came on when pressed – but no physical response.Overnight compresser restarted, temperature in freezer is now around -28C and compresser is running continually.
    Is this all to do with the air fan only? or is there something deeper?

    Superfreeze doesn’t react immedietly on these electronically controlled units.

    From experience it’s nearly always the control PCB that plays up 🙁

    Best ask an engineer to attend to be honest for a diagnosis on this one, check the repairs@ link below.
