Brandt U29AAWHU model red warning light on

Any idea what the red triangle warning light means on the above freezer.

The compressor is still making a noise, but new food does not get frozen.

Have now tried defrosting the whole unit, and leaving for a couple of days, but still get same warning light.

Have also tried fast freezing unit, compressor runs but inside does not get cold.

Any help gratefully received.

It is a warning that the freezer hasn’t reached the minimum temperature.

It sounds like a refrigerant problem from what you say, probably the compressor faulty. 🙁
