    I have a tall Brandt F / Freezer which has stopped cooling after years of trusty service. Light comes on so has power, but both compartments warm, and is letting out loud click from base rear every couple of minutes…. Fixable?? :rolls:

    err.. apart from the word ‘brandt’ there’s no marks at all on the white casings…. on the black ‘bomb’ thing at the bottom back there’s label with:
    HP12AA R600a 0926 01143 330992

    It’s a built in handle less that was installed by builders of flat…

    any good?

    NOW I HAVE BOUGHT A BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT FROM BRANDT – SAME MODEL, AND INSTALLED IN EXACTLY SAME POSITION / CABINET ETC… BUT IT’S MAKING NOISES THAT CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS LIKE A MUFFLED WOOD PIGEON (?!) AND NOW AFTER LESS THAN A WEEK THERE IS ICE SHEETS AND FROSTY SNOW FORMING IN THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT….

    WHAT COULD BE WRONG??

    I thought you only bought a Brandt once then you get wise
    And go for something better
