Brandt WFH 1371 w/m tripping out

Evening all,

Wondering if anyone can help with above m/c tripping out?

The m/c trips out immediately one selects any programme.

I’ve tried isolating the following to no avail:

door interlock
main motor
both water inlet valves
supressor unit

switch ass’y and control module?
Insulation test reasonable/good.

The m/c trips as soon (immediately) as any programme is selected.

Not sure on procedure, as fairly new to this business.

Wondering if there is a common problem in this area.

assuming its not the heater, take the main pcb out of its box and look for blown track, if blown suspect door interlock damaged by water leak from blocked syphon tube in dispenser. Whatever you do, dont just fit a pcb without finding reason for it blowing first.
Good ol machines these and the customers love them, worth repairing.
