Brant fridge freezer

I have a brandt frost free fridge freezer 18 months old, model no cfa310au . The fridge is cold yet the freezer is not freezing although it is cool. I have tried switching it off to melt any ice that may have formed in the vent yet it is still not freezing . I have phoned around but no repairers will look at it because they cant get parts for it !Any ideas

Hi Sarah,

This is a known issue with Brandt at the moment I’m afraid as they moved from doing spares direct to a third party in the UK which has caused mayhem over the past few months.

I am told it is being sorted and getting better but Brandt, I’m afraid, have stomped on many of us once too often and even although I was a Brandt agent (through various changes) for about twelve years, even I will no longer touch their products due to teh poor support from the company.

Sorry but there’s not really much I can do. 😕
