Breville Microwave Oven Fails when using convection oven

The above Combi-Microwave is a Breville MW4.

The Microwave & Grill works without a problem, when you operate the oven after 1 second the displays shows ‘FAIL’.

The oven element & thermostat check out OK. The thermistor mounted in the top of the oven cavity is about 2 ohms.

Has anyone come across this before?

I called Breville and passed a message to Tech department. The reply was it would be the PCB.

This is irrelevant anyway as I have since discovered Breville only provide spares like turntable plates for their microwave ovens. If you require anything else you’ve had it.

Apparently the deal is if it fails in guarantee they replace it, if it fails out of guarantee you’ve had it!
