Hi, I have a Britannia oven SI-9TF-SS (2001 model) and sparks started flying out of the fan when I was using it. I assume the fan element has gone and just wonder if this can be replaced from the front/inside of the oven or whether the repairman will need to access behind the oven. The problem is that the oven is very tightly wedged in between two work tops (great design by previous owners!) and I don’t know if they will be able to get the oven out without dismantling the kitchen! Thank you.

    Hi,
If it is the fan element that has failed, in order to replace it you will need access to the back of the cooker, as well as the front.
