    Hi everyone,

I have a Britannia oven and a small part has broken off between the nine-switch oven/grill/fan oven selector and the big chunky part that’s inside under the hob that makes the oven/grill etc turn on. It’s like an orange stick thing that connects the two and it has snapped. The oven knob itself is fine – it’s just that orange stick so my oven hasnt worked for over a month now. Brittania charge a lot (£115.50) for a replacement part – they say it’s a “9 function selector switch part SP-IA03408”. The model is S1-6S5- SLXS.
I can see there are cheap similar ones available on other sites but I dont know if they’re the correct ones, or whether I/my friend can replace the part once it comes or we need a sparky to do it.

I want to upload photos but this page keeps telling me they are too big and break rules etc. I like breaking rules but this one I cant seem to bypass.

Can anyone help? Can i buy this part cheaper from a spare parts dealer if I can find the exact one and can I fit it easily?

    Thanks so much!

Enter your part number into our shop at the top of the page it can be purchased for under £30. You will need to host pictures on a third party site like Tinypic etc and then upload onto here.
