    Recently I have noticed that if I click on an old/broken hyperlink I don’t seem to get a 404 anymore.

    It just takes me to the forum index pages, once there pressing the back button keeps returning me to the index page?

    I have just tried to follow the hyperlink in THIS post for instance.

    Yeah, we had to do it. 🙁

    There were far too many broken that couldn’t be auto-redirected.

    Is there no way of tracing them with the full link, this one is numbered viewtopic&p=301775#301775

    Not really, no.

    The problem is that the links are dbase generated and a total PITA to track down.

    I have still to get Sudeep to get the last known backup of the old forum working here so we can track them down but, even then, it can be a PITA to do it.
