    Hi all
Just waisted 2 hrs trying to fit 2 different bs14107 elements (horse shoe shape) from masterpart into a neff u1721.
They look the same but the new ones are slightly smaller so the fan hits them. I thought it was a fluke so I got the spare one of the van as well but that was the same. Tryed 4 different fan blades but still hit it.
Only just got these 2 elements yesterday now I have to get origional ones But I dont think the customer will pay any extra cost so I will loose profit on this job 😡 (extra cost +money lost on 2 faulty fan elements)£61.00 lost, only charging £65.00
Anyone else orderd any of these recently they look the same size but are not.
Should I ask masterpart to refund for the 2 faulty elements ❓

I’d hangfire until you’ve got the old one as evidence of the difference – THEN start asking the questions…….

I have only changed one, a few months ago, it was also a very poor fit and I had to bend everything I could, fan blades, element, leave out one fixing screw, etc to affect a repair.

I’ve been using the Q/tex ones with no problems. Bit worrying – I presume they all come out of the Backer factory?

Yeah , if anyone from Masterpart is reading this I`ve also had problems with TY14124 and EL14106.

Line them up alongside the genuine and you`ll see the difference 💡
Agree with streetlighter that you go along to a job armed with what should be the correct parts and it really is annoying to say the least :x.
