    Has anyone been having difficulty with bt major outage? :haier: :haier:

    Oh I forgot you can’t answer this because you can’t get online unless you are using 3G :rolls:

    3 days now on and off more off than on!

    Hi Steve

    There was downtime in Birmingham on Monday I know as the Connect orders couldn’t get through.

    Article here from the Beeb. Don’t know how far afield it affected though.

    Hope you get it sorted soon.

    I bet it’s another case of someone knicking miles of copper cable. :rolls:

    It’s supposed to be back up. 😕

    I did see a thing from BT saying that you had to reset your router though, basically switch it off and back on again after a few seconds.

    We were affected in deepest Worcestershire on monday but all ok now.

    Did the 3 minute switch off of versatility system, problem is shuts off the whole phone system!
    Rebooted all the computers and still played up.
    Did this twice! worked for a bit then dropped out again!

    BT did a 15 minute test on the line and then it came back on line.
    By then it was home time!

    Will see how it goes tomorrow!

    We had trouble yesterday. It was on and off for hours, has been ok today.

    BT Infinity customer with 35 – 40 Meg BB with a smugger grin 8) . Even though BT has a ‘Blip’ at the moment, the connection is simply… Sublime 99.99999{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time 🙂

    The past couple of days, I’ve noticed a difference in BB Speed, it varies from 6 Meg to 25, but it seems to have settled again now. So fingers crossed, all sorted!

    The thing is my 20 meg BB has always been at least 19 meg or more for the last three years, not 6 to 25 when you pay for 45, a rock solid 19 meg+ day in day out.

    Also I can get Virgin Media 50 meg for less than BT’s 45meg.

    Virgin Media have been doing customer trials with a 200 meg service for several months now. 😛
