ParticipantAny of you taken BT Webclicks, we took on this as part of our BT classified advertising this year. Thing is they have not issued any invoices for the payments they have received for the last three months !
I have trawled the BT websites for futher information how these webclicks work and can find very little information, there is also no contact numbers for this department.
I decided to phone the billing centre of BT this morning only to be told that they did not deal with the BT Webclicks invoicing and that the only way I could make contact was via email to their BT Webclicks support desk, after being told this I was put on hold and cut off !
Considering that they had my customer details and that the situation was unresolved nobody called me back. I have emailed this support desk this morning and as yet have received no reply.
Tomorrow I will be suspending payments to them and see if that spurs them into action. Useless is not a fair description I could use far stronger words if pushed.
I would be interested to know if any of you have BT Webclicks and how if any it helps you.

Never heard of this service, but if its anything to do with the Phone Book their accounts dept. are attrocious.
I’ve never known an advertiser with so many numptys working for them, from the sales staff right the way through. Nothing ever seems to get sorted out, half an hour on the phone and the light at the end is seen….two days later another numpty rings up taking it back to square one.
Had two years free advertising so far for the cock ups they’ve made. 8)Good job you hadn’t mentioned Tomsons 😈

Martin,
I had already stummbled on that page and link, the thing the only method of contacting this BT Webclick shower is via their email address, Guess What ? They never reply to any mails, I have sent them two robust emails over the last four days threating to cancel, Nothing, I then sent them a further email stating that I was terminating the contract due to them breaking the contract and that they had frustrated the terms of the contract. Again I have heard nothing !
I am Pi**** off with them and I urge anyone contmeplating BT WEBCLICKS to give it a wide berth.
The problem I have now is that they collect the money for this service via credit card and my card company ahs told me the only way payments can cease is for BT Weblicks to advise them.
How stupid is that ! its my card, its my money. they have to have the say so on it.
Any ideas ?

Mm an afterthought, what I could do is stop my direct debit to the BT classification advertsing as this webclicks was part and parcel of that although the money is paid to two different accounts it was still all sorted out wth BT Adversting as one thing. If they cannot collect their money that will focus them.

Tell your credit card company you want to cancel your card. Then they will listen 😈

i had a company do the same with my credit card a while back, the card companies say they cannot cancel a re-couring transaction, however if you tell the card company your card is damaged a new one will be issued with a different expiry date, so when BT try to get the money it will be rejected

Or just say your card has been lost or stolen, then you get a completely different set of numbers 😀 I do that whenever I’ve been abroad as a matter of course also!
