Evening people , our rented cottage has an integrated Baumatic washing machine – model no: BTMW5 – and today my gf rang me to say it went ‘bang’ and stopped showing F:08 . I tested it when I got home on a spin cycle and its going into a brief uncontrolled fast spin…..followed by the error code. I’ve worked out the code relates to the motor failing but will the whole unit need replacing , is there another possible cause or could it be a mixture of motor/control module ?
I know the landlady/agents will need to sort the problem but I’d at least like to go forewarned .
