We’re having a new kitchen installed. We currently have a Miele G4210 freestanding dishwasher. The instruction manual says there is a build in kit available, but when I rang Miele, the woman I spoke to didn’t seem to know what this entailed. Basically I just wanted to find out if there is some way of physically raising the machine so the dishwasher door lines up with the units. The units are white so I don’t need to attach a door panel. G4210 is about 6 years old, works perfectly. The instructions also mention a build in plinth is available. Appreciate any feedback.

Cheer Dave. I have done that previously with an old Bosch dishwasher. The front kick plate could be remove and the front feet then screwed in further back allowing a continuous plinth to run across. I just wondered what the Miele build in kit comprised of. Lady from Miele didn’t seem to know either!

bosch did one but it was a plate that allowed you to take the top off and replace it with a thin metal sheet. This lowered the machine by about 25mm or so to allow it to fet under a low worktop
