ParticipantHi folks,
I was wondering if a could get some advice from those of you in the know about these kind of things…
When i purchased my flat a couple of years ago, it came with a built in Homark oven which has now officially given up the ghost and is not worth repairing.
I’ve been looking around today at potential replacements and i came across this Delonghi number:
Now, i’m a total newbie when it comes to oven purchasing, but it seems like a good deal and the spec is pretty good for the money i’m looking to spend (no more than £300).
Only issue i’ve had is that i’m only too aware that Delonghi aren’t exactly specialist oven manufacturers – which brings me here for advice…
Are their ovens any good and is this something that would be a good purchase?
Would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction as i’ve spent pretty much 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the day in electronics/DIY shops and my brain is fried!!!
😕 🙁Regards
Andy

Hi Andy
Homark to Delonghi, out of the frying pan and into the fire IMO. Much beter to get one of these Bosch HBN331EOB and it`ll come with a two year warranty as well.
HTH 🙂

Morning Don,
Thanks very much for your help – really appreciate it. 😀
I suspected as much – the Homark is falling apart now and i dont want the same to happen with this one!
The Bosch model looks very good – two year warranty too which is a real boost.
On a softer point I notice that there is only one shelf with this model – would it be easy enough to pick up a second one? Might be useful to have.
Regards
Andy

Hi Andy
Tis true you only get one shelf but you do get a full width grill / roasting pan as well.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order a second one.
