    Hi!
We have a quite old pyrolytic oven (it’s a Faure FYB 562, but that doesn’t matter).
I just had to replace the bulb & checked in the manual that I needed a 300°C bulb.
But I also noticed in the manual that the pyrolytic process gets the oven to 500°C.

So I wonder how those figures can be compatible?

As far as I can see, all available E14 oven bulbs are rated at 300°C.
Am I supposed to remove the bulb before cleaning the oven?

    Thanks for any clarification!

The bulb doesn’t (or shouldn’t) get hot enough to pop it on a pyro cycle as it’s in its own enclosure.

    K.
