    Evening!
I have a JLDww1205 (Electrolux) which has burned out what I think is the heater relay on the end connector to the control panel. The panel is numbered EDW1510.
Everything appears to be working ok except that the heAter does not now switch on which is what makes me think it’s the relay that has burned out. It’s in such a bad state (virtually disintegrated) that I can’t see any markings on the remains!
Does anyone know if I can buy just this item? Or maybe I can wire in another, separate relay and get working again? Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

PCB works fine, I’ve checked several cycles. So I was thinking of wiring to an external relay 10 or 12A 12v switching. What do you think?

Sounds like a good plan but outside of that it’s what my colleague said = New PCB

    Problem fixed!
It seems I was wrong, the burned out, melted part was not a relay but actually the mains connector to the PCB board. I simply soldered mains wires direct to board.
Anyone know what could have caused the plug to melt?

Common fault and connect block modified to prevent fires.
