Burning smell

    Hi

    I have a Vax VS-19TLT Turboforce Lite 16000 Upright cleaner.

    It started not picking up and burning smell, and the brush stopping rolling and i unscrewed it and found the belt had broken.

    No problems, i got a new belt put it on and starts spinning again.

    BUT I still smell the burning smell.

    What could it be?

    Its a year old, great vacuum, nicely picks up the cat hairs and easy to empty etc. Just the smell at moment.
