if you are getting a burning smell when it should be washing then its fairly certain the motor is knacked.
Failing that it could be element coming on

I am not sure with regard to the motor seal kit I am looking at the same info as you and yes a blocked pressure system would bring the element on .

The motor and circulating pump housing are sold seperately. The heater is the through type flow control therefore if the motor doesn’t work then the heater doesn’t come on.

Enough on the speculation and best you call by and check it out eh? 8)

When you smell burning, it’s one of the first places to look.
