Hello. This query is concerning a Dishwasher, John Lewis brand model JLDWW1201 Electrolux made, PNC 911916047, S/N 5224028 which ceased to respond altogether. There is power, but no response nor lights from control panel. I have open the front panel and found a connection on the PCB to be burnt out. It appears to be the main power connection, but I am unsure. I can replace the PCB, but then how do I know that it was not another defective part to have actually caused the damage to the PCB? Likely as not the fault is merely due to a faulty connector to the module. So in this case you will need to buy a new Module (about £150 🙁 ) and replace the burnt terminal block with regular insulated spade terminals instead.

    Or re-cycle the whole appliance? 💡 😉 🙂

Thank you for your opinion. I will probably recycle the whole machine considering the cost for the part.
