    Hi,
I have a Bush AE6BFS Single Built in Oven. The original TopGrill Element became distorted so I replaced it. With the new element in place the grill works for 10-30 minutes but then blows the fuse. My question is is the grill element controlled by a thermostat? I think it is just a faulty element but if it is thermostaically controlled and if the thermostat is faulty overheating could be the cause of the failure. I haven’t been able to find a circuit diagram for the oven to check.

It will be controlled by a regulator or a thermostat, depends on how it’s setup.

There are over 100 versions of that model, determined by the serial number.

    K.
