ParticipantHi,
I have a Bush BFSNB12W dishwasher that is giving up the F5 error.
I’ve googled and youtubed to my hearts content. It seems to be either a draining issue or a insufficient intake issue.
The machine drains, and fills up but 2 minutes in after it drains water away the F5 error springs up. It seems when it is supposed to fill up again.
I have undone all pipes and checked, water is flowing through the pipes to the machine fine and also draining away fine.
As it is filling and draining in the first couple of minutes, and not intermittent I am at a loss but it has lead me to the inlet valve?
Is this the most likely possibility? Anything else I could look at first?
Thank you.

Moderatorsomewhere there is a pressure switch
this senses water level. its either blocked up ( dont blow into switch directly)
or there is no water going in to sense
check for water flow, check switch and make sure its not blocked. check wiring from switch to board
or the board is faultyDave

I will find it today and check, thank you.
How can I check switch is working, once I’ve confirmed water flow and not blocked?

Moderatorno easy way. with the later switches you can destroy them if you blow into it so the only way is to swop them out
your lucky in one respect as this unit is a known manufacturer , most Bush stuff is chinese junk with little access to spares or information

DaveOk. So if water flow and not blocked, best to simply change the switch. If that doesn’t work it’s the board and time to simply get a new dishwasher.

the pressure is fed to the swich via an air chamber, make sure thats not blocked
if you get me the long serial number will try to find correct switch
