ParticipantAnyone know of a decent source for Bush cooker spares – both Gas and Electric. Connect seem to have a few, Qualtex an odd one and M.Part the odd one. Cookers seem to be made by Vestel.
Despite a part number enquiry with Connect, I can’t even source an oven thermocouple for an AG56TW, Serial 00624020002588980025, Type DG56E4022E0602. Seems ludicrous to write it off just for a t.couple.
Another part that has caused write-offs are the control panel end caps -they fall off and cannot be refixed. You can get white caps but thats useless if the cooker is silver or black.
Know its a long shot but if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
Regards

Seems all the thermocouples are the same according to the diagram.
Part number 37001496 in stock at Connect. I would check this will fit the oven as it doesn’t specifically list it as “oven” in the diagram or parts list.

Thanks Bazza500
Unfortunately went with this thermocouple but it doesn’t fit. Unlike most of the Bush cookers which have a front to rear burner, this oven has a lateral burner at the rear. The t.couple has a nut at the hot end, is very very slim and doesn’t fit into a clip like the front to rear burner.
Did a PNE with Connect and they came up with the same T/C as yourself, even with the full model, 20 digit serial and type. Thanks a lot for the reply, I guess this is another two year old Bush destined for the scrapheap.

37001496 is the thermocouple for the AUX burner on the hob NOT the oven.
Correct PN for the Oven Thermocouple is 37001495. 1 digit out but it makes all the difference.
I think we 1 in stock. If you PM me your address I will send it you on a sale or return basis, if you want.
Or Connect have them in stock also.

Thanks for your reply Jackal
Also had the thermocouple on van that you mentioned but this does not fit either. The one you mention is for the front to rear burner and it push fits into a clip, it will not fit the rear lateral burner on this cooker. The t.couple needed has a threaded hot end secured by a nut, is very slim, so slim that a stanadard universal won’t fit through the burner bracket either.
Once again, thanks for your trouble. 😀Regards
