BUSH D/W (DWFSG126W)- Argos type (E4)

Customer complains of E4 during the later stages (20 minutes left) of specific programms (eco and intensive). I initially sat with the machine through a rapid wash and no faults were present (At the time we didnt realise it was faulting on some programs and not others).

Anyway, checking the manual shows me that E4 relates to; Temperature sensor. Both Eco and intensive washes perform a drying phase before they finish.

So, I start to look for this temperature sensor AND COULDNT FIND A THING!!!

Maybe I am being ignorant, maybe I couldnt see the wood for the trees.. Does anyone know where Temparature sensor is located?

I removed sides and front plinths to gain access. Couldnt see anything attacthed to (or near) the wash motor/element, nor on the sump, nor on the door !

Couldn’t find much/any info regards parts etc.

Presumably, this fault is to do with the drying phase of the program.

Customer is getting by as it only occassionally faults. But, I’d still like to get to the bottom of it.

* Any technical data on this machine, please?
