    Hey guys,
I installed a new Bush DWFS 126 yesterday, it seems to be working fine apart from leaving a white powdery deposit on everything. I assumed this is salt? I have trawled the internet and the manual to see if I can find a solution to the problem but with no luck.
The supplier says they will send an engineer out but not for a week, I have a party this weekend so was hoping to try and sort it myself.

    Help and advise needed please.
    Thanks
    Neil

Does the White deposit taste of salt? Have you overfilled the salt container and not secured the cap?

    Thanks for the reply Martin,
I hadn’t thought of tasting it, now I have I wouldn’t say it was a strong salty taste but slight. Yes the lid is secure and although full It is not over full with salt (about an inch from the top)

Re: Bush DWFS 126 salt problem

Do another maximum wash cycle without dishes in the hope of clearing the problem. Otherwise there is a problem with the salt regeneration process I would think. Though a sudden report of white salty deposits is almost always associated to a salt cap, salt cap threads cracked or salt lid gasket failure.

I have cleaned the threads, checked the gasket, screwed cap on tight and put it onto a full cycle. Fingers crossed 🙂

The outcome was the same, so I guess I need to wait for an engineer.
Thanks for your help, its much appreciated.

……one further thought, I hope it was salt you poured into the salt reservoir and not loose detergent?
