ParticipantHi All
Got called to this machine because it is throwing up Error 7 on a fairly regular basis (apparently it has done it on and off for a while but is now much more regular), According to the fault codes Error 7 is a motor error. What appears to happen on any cycle is that the machine will get to the point where it starts to tumble and after a random amount of time (10 seconds to 2 minutes) it will suddenly kick up in speed for about 2 seconds before shutting of the motor and trying again after which it gives up and throws up the error.
I have checked:
Insulation – c275Mohm
Wiring Loom to motor
Motor and tacho windings
Brushes (Plenty left and not stuck)
Magnet
Visual check of board
Water level
Fill valves
Heater
NTC
BearingsI am having to assume that it is the board either not sensing or failing to control the motor properly but wondered whether any else had come across this fault or had any other ideas.
If it is board then does any one know what the part number is please as connect don’t have this machine listed.
Serial No:CE0JC4E0H00CRA6K0927
According to the customer it is an Argos machine which only just over a year old.
Thank you in advance
Jem

Sorry I don’t know the part no but that model nos looks very much like a Haier model nos. is the machine made in the PRC?

PRC?
It does say Haier on the motor if that helps.

Wires from motor socket to tacho are worth a tug!

I think I tugged them all and they all seemed firm.
