ParticipantBeen asked for one of these just now, look like chinese, or poss servis?
Cant get hold of any, dont really want to either but any ideas from people who’ve actually worked on one where they come from?
Kinda need to dissuade them but need some factually correct negative ammunition!

i think uve got away with it – its gotta be ok otherwise they wouldnt be able to have oriental cuisine, orient express, unle bens taste of the orient etc etc.
i think its the more crass terms like the shortened “chinese takeaway” and references to eyes that is frowned upon ❗

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p … searchtext>WASHING+MACHINE.htm#producttabsImport Turkish/Chinese (?) tat, give it a Germanic badge & please chavvy Argos punters who think they’re getting a cut price Bosch :rolls:
(Mind you, seeing BSH’s latest sealed drum offerings, maybe the Haus will prove the better machine 😯 )At least Argos has fairly hiked the prices of ‘higher end’ machines compared to last year.. their cheapest 6kg 1200 Zanussi is 355 squid delivered.. & their cheapest Bosch 6kg is 385.
I destinctly remember them selling a 6kg Zanussi for 229 a couple of years ago.
If everyone starts pricing the ‘better’ brands at this sort of level that can only help the repair business IMO.November 2, 2009 at 10:57 pm #302365lee8

There are chinese factories around the web, try e mailing a few on there prices including shipping cost for a several thousand m/c`s.
I bet each appliance would be under £60 an appliance.

Well lee, it must be said, if the likes of BSH & Electrolux continue to insist on producing machines with sealed drums that last 2 or 3 summers, & PCB’s that are lucky to even last that long, then even i would’nt blame people who simply buy the cheapest thing available next time 🙁

oddly enough… bit of google and the haus is also supplied as a bush… and lol @ http://www.washingmachinereviews.org.uk/category/haus/
what really grates is all the blatently non-unbiased reviews out there on the web with companies being paid to write positive reviews without stating anythng concrete. the gp read up on it think its amazing and buy it :S
i thought the haus was turkish at first but looking at it closer it could well be the clever chinese producing it to look european, cos thinking about it i cant see anything european made beign available for sale under £200 now, let alone £180…
was asked for a kenwood washing machine as well today – iirc its a comet or currys branded model, which is a vestelle product ?!

KeymasterNo substance to the “review”. No opinion. Sales blurb to sell links basically.
Internet smoke and mirrors. 😉

yeh but what annoys me is that its clear to us, or anyone with half a brain cell, but the
sheeppeople who care lap it up and then come and complain to us when we cant fix it… 😡gotta wonder if theres a corellation between the people buying these and the people who voted in the last election???
