Bush WDNSX86B washer dryer door stuck

Hi

i hope someone can help me. We have had lots of problems with this machine and now it is being consigned to the scrap heap and are getting a new machine. The problem is it stuck mid cycle and is full of water and so the door won’t open. I have tried using a coat hanger to open it but to no avail. Any ideas?

turn the power off at the plug, wait 5 mins, if its a thermal lock it will release

Tried that, and all the other usual remedies but it didn’t work. It doesn’t matter now anyway because my husband has just managed to force the door open so we now have a flood to deal with!

probably got a manuals release in the filter cover
