Buying a Hoover – is this a good manufacturer to buy from?

Hi…this isnt a request to fix a fault, more of a preventative email…any advice greatfully received.

I have to buy a fridge freezer in the next week or so…and it has to
– fit a thin space so the width can only be 55.5cm
– has to be silver.

With those restrictions, the best fridges that I can find seem to be Hoovers…in particular the HFA290 ALU GB.

But I cannot find much product info and hardly any reviews, and the reports on here are hardly ringing endorsements. So I would be very grateful if someone could advise
– are Hoover any good as a fridge/freezer manufacturer?
– what problems do you usually have with Hoover fridge/freezers?
– is their post-purchase service as bad as it seems?
– does anybody have an opinion (good or bad) on this particular model?

Hi

if you have dismissed CANDY fridge freezers then you might as well dismiss the HOOVER brand also as they are made by the same companies.
Try to have a look at LEC as they are available slimline.
