    Hi

I bought my AEG L16830 in November 2006. The machine recirculates the water through a small pump and it can be seen pouring from a spout just inside and above the door. This seems to be the source of a buzzing noise that is noticable when it is going through that part of the cycle. Can anyone advise if this is a known issue with this model?

    Thanks

Yes. If you leave it, the circulation pump motor will seize and eventually blow up. This wipes out the computer board, every time………

Replacement pump is p/no 1321152-04/1 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply you a replacement promptly if you wish to do this yourself.

Power off if working on the appliance.

Thanks for your reply. 🙂 I got the impression that the buzzing noise was the water pump vibrating on the front of the machine. I am surprised if the pump is going already 🙁

Two pumps, Bill. Drain pump in the front right corner, circulating pump is half way back on the right. It wears quite quickly due to running for extended periods of time when compared to the drain pump.
