Hi,
Dont know if anyone can help me, i have a Whirlpool AKZ151/IX the reported temperature is about 10 degrees off the actual temperature.
I wondered if there was any way to calibrate the oven so that the temperature is set correctly.
Hi
What meter have you used to take the reading?
If you used one of those dangly oven thermometer, then forget accuracy, they are just a guide.
Temperature problems can also be caused by a poor sealing oven door, damaged door seal, faulty thermostat or weak/faulty circotherm fan motor.
Did use a ‘dangly thing’ but fairly confident its not right as things i cook always need a higher temperature. I guess i can check the door seal etc.
Other than that i suppose i need to get an engineer to test it for other faults etc?
