Can anybody reccomend a firm to recon pcb’s and modules

Hi,

Can anybody let me know of any other firms out there that recon pcb’s and modules apart from QER. It seems 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the things I ask for are either out of stock or my modules cannot be repaired.

Grooster, you could try HJM Scientific. They don’t have the wide range of modules that QER do, but they do timer recon’s as well, which prove pretty reliable generally.

EMW do a lot of modules now, sorry I am at home and dont have their details but judging by their accents they are from “up North” somewhere.
But, as I have also found with QER, that they have good reason for all the unrepairables given the complexity and special chips on boards these days. Gone are the days of Bt139’s and 5.6K resistors making easy repairs, Just testing the things must be a nightmare.

Just received EMW’s Catalogue today, seems very interesting. Thanks to you guys I have another contact for Module repairs/supplies as I have never heard of EMW til now! (Never bothered with recon Timers though, would like to hear your comments in that department just the same).

What I did find interesting in their catalogue as well, was that they obviously have experience with the current Indesit/Ariston modules. Apparently they refer to them as Mark 1, 2 and 3 variants, and mention also the Slave Timer and Display Modules for WE series machines…..All good stuff which gives hope for us repairing these lousy machines at least?
