    Hi,

We have owned a Frigidaire larder fridge for about two and a half years. However until about three weeks ago it was being stored in the garage for 11 months because we had moved into a house with built-in appliances which we have now taken out.

Our problem with the fridge is that whilst the centre of the fridge is very cold, to the point of freezing food, the top of the fridge is too warm at about 6 or 7 degrees. When we moved the fridge back into the house I gently hoovered any dust from the back (as recommended in the instruction boooklet) and allowed the fridge to stand for a couple of days before turning it on. It seemed to be fine at first but now it has been moved into its final position we are having this problem. We had never had any problems with the fridge before and I am unsure as to what to do. The instruction booklet that came with the fridge is no help at all.

Please help! I am heavily pregnant and don’t fancy food poisoning at the moment!

    Many thanks.

    Hi LKC,

Is it just the back centre that cools? Is there a sort of iceball there? Have you got a model number?

    K.
