there are a few versions of this model but the earliest date i can see on the service manual is 26.11.2002, of course the one you are talking about my have been made much later depending how long production went on for. i may be able to find out more with the service number starting 8586………..

thank you so much that is a great help

just for a littel background, i bought this unit second hand and i cant get the ice maker to work,

as it is well out of its warranty i would need to get a selanoid (sorry i dont know how its spelt) for the ice maker but i cant afford 60 quid at the moment for a new one any ides what else it could be or how i could sort it out?

could it just be the selanoid or could the motor on the maker have died?
