Can my old Tricity halogenheat ceramic hob be repaired?

Dave Conway please advise?

The dual circuit hotplate is not working. Are there any repairers nearby – Stirling, Scotland?
Would a new part be difficult to get?
Since we need a new kitchen soon would it be better to buy a new one – what is a modern equivalent since it is great for cooking?

From your email, and for future readers, the model is 4427 🙂

The original plate is now obsolete but a universal dual 1500w one should fit.

Have you checked the repairs@ link (see below) for an engineer ?
