Can You Give Me a Reading For This Bosch Motor – See Photos

Hi,

Is it possible that you might have a used Bosch motor hanging around (see images below). If so would you be kind enough to take a reading on your meter between the middle two contacts (looking at the plug image below – from left, pins 4 & 5 – take your reference from the plug moulding shape ).

I am trying to see if these two pins are in cct with the motor cut out. This motor does not work, the brushes are fine. The motor is the replacement end frame type and on this motor my meter registers an open cct between these two pins.

The machine is a WFF1401GB/01

Readings as per spec

Pins 2 – 3 = 0.8 – 2 ohms
Pins 4 – 5 = 1.8 – 10 ohms
Pins 6 – 7 = 14 – 240 ohms

Like Greg write between those plugs (pins 4&5) should you find rotor through carbon brushes. Could you verify that with meter between motor plug and brush plug (spring). Perhaps when you did open it you forget to release brush spring. 😳
Another mistake is that, in worry, you can turn stator with 90′ comparing with motor back lid (brush side). I can’t see correctly from photo if it’s the case but can be (both fix axes should be on the same part of motor). :hmm:

just as an add to this thread i have successufully changed the motor tos in bosch motors on three occasions

just cut out carefully the old toc and after cutting off wires from toc17 hotpoint toc solder into place works a treat
