Can you recomend a washer dryer please, budget £500

Hi all

I am about to buy a washer dryer, budget up to £500.

I have my eye on the Bosch WVD24520GB, is this a newish machine or has it been out a while ?

Also looking at the Hotpoint WDL540P, again I have seen reviews going back to Sept 2008, are there newer machines that anyone can recomend ?

Whats wrong with the 12 month old Zanussi.

If there is any way in the world that you can get a separate washer & tumble dryer in then you really should do so.

Don’t buy a Washer/Dryer

Don’t touch any Hotpoint washer dryer, full of Indesit gubbins. 😥

For £500 you are just about scraping into the bottom end as far as quality is concerned.

The only one that is any good is the Miele WT2670 and that comes with a hefty price tag 😉 better to have seperate units if space allows.

Hi all

Regarding the Zanussi, its uneconomical to repair & I have been given £210 towards a new machine.

Since I posted yesterday & after reading notes on this website regarding washer dryers I have decided to go with just a washer.

Thanks for the advice, I have opted for the Bosch WAE24364GB.
