Candy 1012 Power Switch?

I have a Candy 1012/2-80 which won’t switch on when start button pressed. No lights, no power. If I lift the door to nearly closed, it beeps and all the lights flash. I can then press for the required cycle, close the door and it all works. I there some switch or door sensor which is failing? Anyone else had the problem? Thanks!

I assume it’s a CDI1012/2.

It could be the door switch, door lock or catch that’s an issue and that could be a fault or, just needing adjusted.

There is a microswtich in there to proven the dishwasher from running with the door open.
