Candy 14104L door not locking

Candy EVO 14104L/180
Door not locking so machine will not start,
Tried new interlock, checked brushes .
Any ideas

have you checked the board for signs of damage ?

am assuming you have checked child lock

Yes checked child lock and just taken board off and checked
Connections, all the other buttons work as symbols come up on display except start button, so is it a fault on control board or PCB.
it’s a machine I have in workshop
And will keep it as my own machine,

have you checked motor continuity from the board

Try a motor on it or if it’s a China built machine change the brushes had a candy washer doing this a week or so ago and changed brushes and a way to go
