Candy 8001 leaks water and appears to be overfilling. I cant find a float valve on this machine but have adjusted pressure switch with alittle bit of success. Is there a float switch ?or is it likely to be the water valve . Is the water level controlled by the pressure switch and /or the water valve how are they inter-related.What is the most likely cause o this problem?

The pressure switch is operated by the displacement of air from a pressure chamber. When it reaches operating level, it cuts power to the inlet valve. As you have “adjusted” your level switch, it is now scrap and will need to be replaced. Find the pressure chamber and clean it out, then order a replacement level switch from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk .

Follow the air hose back from the pressure switch. Where it joins – that’s the pressure chamber.

    Thanks,
I have already done that and pressure chamber appears to be integral part of plastic moulding .Do you just clean it out from inside the machine What is the best way of cleaning it out as access seems to be through a small hole.
