Candy Aquaviva 1300

Can anyone please help, The main programme control doesn’t go through all the programmes,it fills up ok and goes onto the washing action but then sticks and will only work if I manually click onto the next cycle.It is connected to cold supply only using a Y piece and the filter is ok.
Do I need A new program control or could it be something minor.

Probably not heating the water up then? When it sticks does it just sit there on the main wash cycle? I’m sure that’s the case 😉

I’m reckon that when you advance it past the heating part of the cycle (say) onto a rinse and spin? It works OK then doesn’t it?

New heater required if I’ve guessed right so far. 🙂
