Don’t do a lot of Candy, not seen this one before.

    Complaint of over heating.

NTC reads 33kΏ when cold, using the boiling cup of water test it is operating normally.

    No breaks in wiring.

Set machine to long spin to check on slave timer operation. It moved from SPIN to OFF then clicked on once more to programme 5, the next one on the dial from OFF then stopped.

    Fault has been intermittant. :rolls:

    Any previous on these machines?

    Jim.

The normal 91201337 selector on this one so always a high chance the selector is at fault.

Are you sure no-one else has had the selector knob and cam off and put them back slightly out of synch? (This is possible.)

If all of the above ok then it can only be the module.

    Re: Candy AT130

AFAIK the machine is untouched, old lady on her own, first fault on machine.

    Possibly worth trying a timer.

EDIT. Just checking through my box of ‘Parts ordered over the years and not used’ 😉

I have one of those timers, this one is a white Invensys job,I’m sure the one in the machine was a black one with a much larger motor, are they interchangable?

I would have thought the one in the machine would be the same as the one you have in stock. The part number should be on the selector in the machine. (white sticky label).

it is listed for this machine, perhaps it has been superceded.

    Thanks. 🙂

    Re: Candy AT130

Using a solvent switch cleaner on a timer is only a good idea i have found Jim, if one leaves a reasonable time for the product to evaporate before testing.. 😯 😯 😆

Don’t you just love it when you go to a machine and they say, ” it wasn’t moving on so I sprayed all the controls with WD 40, now it wont do anything” :rolls: 😆

    Re: Candy AT130

Reminds me of an old geezer that i used to go to for many years who proudly told me how he doused the timer on his old 800 Electron ‘at least twice a year’ with WD 😯 Hav’nt heard from him in a long time.. 😥

Invensys timer was a direct replacement for the Chinese tat fitted originally. 8)
