Candy C1041 washing machine

Door lock problems with this machine. I have replaced the delay safty switch (part No 92129592), now the machine won’t spin. I have taken part of another machine (same model) for test and it works ok. Is there any mod needed when fitting one of these. Thanks

If you disconnect the supply to the delay switch it should not affect the operation of the machine whatsoever. It’s merely a live supply from the door switch that mechanically locks the door release mechanism. So I suspect the no spin fault to be elsewhere?

There are two machines, same model, one needed a new delay switch, ordered and then fitted new switch, when tested machine would fill and wash ok but would not spin. Removed switch from other machine after test to check spinning and fitted to first machine, first machine now works ok, fitted new switch to machine two and found it would not spin!!! Faulty switch maybe??? Ordered another switch, fitted to machine one and two with same result.

Machine one and two spin with original switch but won’t when new switch is fitted.

Anyone got any ideas?

Silly question I know but, are you sure the ‘no spin’ button on the panel isn’t pushed in?

Fair enough….Now as far as I’m aware there is no “mod” but I could email you the wiring diagram if you wish? (need your email address for that though of course). You could wade through that if you like (usual Italian hard to read stuff but all there nonetheless.:wink:). If it helps? 😀
