Candy C1260 – new drain pump needed

Hi,

Our Candy C1260 washing machine isn’t draining. The pump makes a very loud screeching noise when it first tries to drain and then gives up.

I’ve pulled the machine out and taken out the pump. I couldn’t see any obstruction. I gave it a clean and put it back – but the problem still exists.

So it looks like it’s time to buy a new pump.

I was hoping you could point me at the right spare part for our machine?

Hi: Looking at the spares shop there are 2 different pumps listed for your machine. If you email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk giving the serial No as well if possible, Dave will be able to tell you which 1 you need & supply it at a good price.

is the common one, and even if it aint the right fit, you can change over the pump base

Thanks. I checked the images and this looks like the right one; and if it’s not I’ll be posting next weekend trying to work out how to change the base ;-).
