Candy c4400 dishwasher

Door spring has gone and I’m not sure how to replace it! I’ve taken side off (left panel) as looking at it and found the broken bits! Is there a diagram anywhere to show how to replace spring? The machine has also recently stopped drying the contents – especially cutlery – as it use too? The machine does seem to be hot at the end of the washing cycle – steam if open the door. Any thoughts? Thanks

There is also a thin/flat metal strip/spring which seems to wrap around a semi circle shaped plastic object on left hand side. how does this fit into the process? On the right hand side there seems to be a simple connection between the door hinge and bracket near base of machine – this spring seems to be ok

Thanks Penguin 45, so it doesn’t attach to the door hinge. I wondered what the other paper clip type hook was for! I’ve ordered up a replacement spring. Any thoughts on the drying problem?

Part arrived yesterday and of course it does connect to the door leaver/hinge! Works a treat which her who should be obeyed really appreciates. Thanks for the diagram Penguin45, just need to sort out the drying problem! 🙂
