ParticipantHi
Fault on this one is ‘stop’ led flashing with no other functions. Have checked start button on front board and ok. Have bi-passed door lock which illuminated the door security led but only getting the 90′ led flashing with no function still. Would appreciate any clues on this one.December 8, 2008 at 2:57 pm #270997Martin

Bypassing the door interlock wont help in diagnosing the problem I’m afraid. 🙁
The error codes are usually displayed by the ‘First Option Button LED’ and the ’90’ LED’ that flash together and repeat every 15 seconds. So for example if the Door Interlock were faulty, then it would flash once then repeat every 15 secs…OK?
Now if the 2 LEDs I’ve mentioned don’t function in this way then chances are the main module may be at fault? It’s always best to take it out completely and give a visual check on the component side of the board (especially the triacs (TR1, TR2 etc etc.)
I’ll send you a test /diagnostic pdf via email if you like.:D

Thanks for the info Martin. I had removed the main module and checked it including the 4 triacs in the corner and all seemed well. The customer did say prior to this fault that she had to keep re-selecting the programme because the one she selected wasn’t tallying up with the timing led. The pdf would be very useful thanks.

Old post I know but did anything ever get resolved on this call. Have changed the interlock and supressor as it showed some signs of an overheat, sent the boards to EMW which was ‘repaired’ but the same fault persists. Customer complained of before the no start fault was permanent that he’d select a programme and it would decide to start some time later.
Have tested everything through but nothing else is showing.TC

Have tested absolutely everything on this machine and come up with nothing. Have sent the board back to EMW for retesting :con:
Has anyone got a wiring chart for this machine just to confirm that the interlock has not been messed with. They have a maintenance man who likes to have a look at the machines first and he mentioned the fault could be the door switch….just a thought.TC
