    Help!

I have a problem with a candy washer, model C514. I have no motor action but everything else seems to be ok. I have checked and double checked everything including replacing the motor, all the wiring tests out ok.

I have come to the conclusion that it must be the module.

After three weeks waiting for the part, I find the new module is different to the original and will not work. It will fit but I get not response at turn on.

I have come up with the part number as :

    09200783

I need to know if the module in the box is what is says it should be.

The labels on the boards show the following information:

    [Orignal]

    Grey label 41013727 vsne23 002273761
    White label 41014397 001470904

    [Replacement]

    Grey label 41019595 VS040D 000180990
    White label 41021514 034623616

The boards have a different component layout and the ribbon cable connection (K7) is in a different position.

My instinct is that it is the wrong board in the box but I am hoping someone can confirm it for me.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I agree with you Bob, I’m sure they’ve shipped you the wrong board. There are two types of boards however available for this model (Programmed & Non-programmed). That may explain why the one you have is different looking to accept the RS232 link from a programming kit maybe?

Anyway, the part number ordered is correct (i.e 09200783 Pre-programmed Coreboard) and should look identical to the original IIRC.

Check your email box for more info from me by the way. You might be better off getting the original board repaired (Give Tony @ EMW a ring on that 😉 )

    HTH?
