Candy C7400 dishwasher sticking timer

I’m having a problem with the timer not progressing. It sometimes works but is getting less reliable. Sometimes turning off and clicking it around again helps but again is become less accomodating.

I have seen a new timer for sale for £52,00 but I’m not certain this is the complete problem.

Any help greatly appreicated

Sticking timers can be caused by any number of things John, it could prove a costly mistake replacing it to find it’s exactly the same afterwards.

Check your waste where the dishwasher outlet pipe connects for blockages as even slow draining may cause it.

Apart from that, it may be time to call an engineer 😉
