    Hello,

My wife decided to overfill this and leave it on for way longer then needed. It’s an old machine given to us.
To cut a short story shorter. The machine was super hot and basically looks like it was close to combusting on a water proof child sheet.
So I took the machine apart at the back to check whether any parts are toasted, doesn’t look like it has, it warped the lid off but lines up fine.
When I come round the back and towards the element, it appears to have a piece of synthetic plastic type cover to stop lint going onto the element.
It appears very chard, I would like to replace it as it appears to be just screwed in with the back plate on the drum.
Any help on finding what material it is (direct replacement or a piece of heat proof material to replace it with.
Couldn’t find any manual for it either. I’m assuming it’s late 80’s early 90’s.
    Thanks
